Make things. Meet people. Have Fun.

Hands-on creative workshops all over North County San Diego. No experience needed — just show up ready to create!

Sometimes you just need an excuse to get out of the house and try something new. Am I right? To do something that's just for you, to add a dash of handmade happiness to your home, room, car, wardrobe, etc. To make a handmade gift for a loved one. To sit down, slow down, and make something with your hands. These are just a handful of reasons why Katori Space workshops exist. Beyond that though, our worshops serve a bigger purpose- bringing people together.

Nowadays, we’re more digitally connected than ever and yet somehow more alone than ever. The American Psychological Association found that more than half of U.S. adults report feeling isolated, left out, or lacking companionship. My hope is that Katori Space can help people feel more connected to each other with the simple act of making something together.

There's something that happens when you put your phone down, sit next to a stranger, and focus on the same thing together. You slow down. You talk. You laugh. You leave with something you made and having actually been present with other people.

Katori Space workshops are small, relaxed, and beginner friendly. No experience needed. Just show up, be yourself, and make something.
